Description

The Life Preserver Unit (LPU)-42P is designed to support aircrews should they become stranded in the water. The collar is attached to the aircrew flight vest. It provides a minimum of 65 pounds of flotation buoyancy and is designed to keep the user’s head above water for an extended period. The bladder’s design incorporates arm straps and a cinch strap to keep the person in the proper flotation position.

It is reusable and repackable.
